STAGE 4.2 DOCUMENTATION - DETAILED DESIGN
Objective: To document the detailed design requirements of
the Client with regards to the building envelope, in collaboration
with the whole team, keeping the budget in mind. To do this we
will;

Team meetings
|
Confirm the timetable for moving forward and work required for
detailed documentation from all team members.
Conduct team meetings for all members to contribute to the
development of the detailed design.

Detailed Design
|
Confirm the design intent for the overall building and brief all
team members on the important elements of what needs to be
achieve.
Review sustainable design requirement and how they will be
incorporated into the design.

|
Prepare detailed section and plan details.
Prepare specification and schedules of material selections and
detailing.
Update all general arrangement drawings.
|
|
Update all window/door schedules.
|
|
Prepare electrical and lighting layouts.
|
|
Assumptions
|
Client will work with us to identify their preferred selections
in a timely way.
Team members will work in a collaborative and cooperative way to
help deliver a timely and proficient service.
All team members - including the client! - will work to sign off
on collective decisions.
2 - 3 meetings with client in our office to review drawings and
make selections.

Outcomes
|
Drawings and specifications setting out the detailed
approach to:
- Building envelope materials and detailing
- Window and door schedules
- Electrical and lighting layouts
|

Additional fees
|
Any changes to the design initiated by the
client.
Any changes to the selections after initial agreement is
reached.
Any work not included in the budget on which the fees are
based.
