People movement at PIDCOCK

As Heraclitus of Ephesus said, there is nothing permanent except change....

LEAVING

At the beginning of 2011, Ben Gray and his girlfriend decided they needed to head overseas for the grand tour before it was too late!  We wish him well and hope to see him again in the future.

Stacey Bark decided before Easter she would like to try working in a large practice as part of her career development. We are very sad to see her go, but wish her well - and have reserved a place in case the grass is not greener on the other side!

Rolando Graterol is sadly returning to Venezuela, to attend to urgent personal matters. We wish him and his family well.

ARRIVING

Rosie Adams-Schimminger started working for us at the end of March, helping greatly in keeping the office running smoothly. She is in  her year out between degrees, having achieved her Bachelor in Design (Architecture) at the University of Newcastle last year.

We are delighted that Fergal White has accepted a position with us here at Pidcock. Fergal comes to us from PTW, where he has had a wealth of documentation and on-site experience. Previously, he gained much experience in a couple of great architectural practices in Ireland, and is midway through his part-time Masters in Environmental Design of Buildings, Cardiff. He is looking forward to getting back to a smaller practice where he can connect with clients who are deeply concerned about their projects and deliver wonderful sustainable buildings.

Micheal Pye will also be starting at the end of May. He has been working closely with Edward Szewczyk on high end residential projects in the eastern suburbs for the last two years, and is looking forward to extending this experience with us.

Coincidentally, both Fergal and MIchael are each expecting their first child at the begining of June - we will be delighted to welcome their familiies to our fold!

We are in the process of finding one additional project leader and will let you know as soon as the appointment is made.
