"Living Building Challenge takes out Buckminster Fuller

It was announced yesterday that the "Living Building Challenge"
has been declared winner of the prestigious "Buckminster Fuller
Challenge". The Buckminster Fuller Challenge is an international
environmental design competition which has been called
"Socially-Responsible Design's Highest Award". The criteria for
entry is not a single design alone but an "integrated strategy that
addresses social, environmental, economic and cultural
issues.".
This represents much deserved global recognition for the Living
Building Challenge standard which has been discussed earlier in our
BLOG. Congratulations to all involved.
